2. Where are your current operations and projects located?    
    
   Canada

• The Kemess South mine is located in north-central British Columbia, approximately 250 kilometres north of Smithers and 430 kilometres northwest of Prince George.
• Young-Davidson is a gold property located in northern Ontario, 60 kilometres west of Kirkland Lake.  Production is currently scheduled for 2010.
• The Kemess North project is located approximately five kilometres north of the Kemess South mine.  Northgate submitted its Environmental Impact Assessment report for the project to the Joint Federal/Provincial Environmental Review Panel and underwent a three-year review process, which has recently been completed.  For a brief outline of the status of the Project, please click here.

Australia
On February 18, 2008 Northgate acquired two fully-permitted operating mines located in Victoria, Australia:

• The Fosterville Gold Mine is un underground gold mine located 150 km north of Melbourne.
• The Stawell Gold Mine is un underground gold mine located 250 km west of Melbourne.

3. What is your target criteria for future corporate development?
   Northgate is currently looking to acquire one or more operating gold mines, or advanced exploration or development projects with the following criteria:
   • 50,000 – 200,000 ounce/year production potential
   • Underperforming gold or gold/copper mines where our operating skills could add value
   • Properties with regional exploration potential in politically stable jurisdictions
